Privacy notice

How we handle the information you send us through this website.

Draft pending review. This notice is a working draft. It will be finalised with our legal adviser before it is relied upon. If anything here is unclear, please ask us before submitting a form.

1. Who we are

M2C Worldwide (insert full legal entity name) operates this website at m2cworldwide.com and is the controller of personal data collected through it. Our registered address is Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

For any question about this notice or about your personal data, write to info@m2cworldwide.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. Through the forms on this site, that is:

  • Your name and the company you represent
  • Your business email address and, if you give it, a telephone number
  • The country or market you are buying for
  • The buyer type, product categories, volumes and trade terms you tell us about
  • The content of your message or requirement description
  • Which page of the site you submitted the form from

Our hosting provider also processes standard server and security logs, which can include IP addresses, for the purpose of operating and protecting the site.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

PurposeLawful basis
Responding to your enquiry and preparing a quotation Performance of, or steps towards, a contract
Maintaining a record of quotations and orders Legitimate interests, and legal obligations on commercial records
Operating and securing the website Legitimate interests
Sending you product or market updates, where you have asked for them Consent, withdrawable at any time

We do not sell your data, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to 24 months, so that we can pick up a conversation you return to. Records relating to a quotation or an order are kept for as long as commercial, tax and customs record-keeping rules require in the relevant jurisdictions. Confirm these periods before launch.

5. Who else processes it

We use a small number of service providers to operate the business, and they process your data only on our instructions:

  • Our website hosting and form-handling platform
  • Our business email provider
  • Add any CRM, analytics or newsletter tool you adopt

Because we trade internationally, your data may be transferred between countries. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use third-party analytics as published. It does load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers.

If you later add analytics, a chat widget or a marketing pixel, this section must be updated and a cookie consent banner will probably be required.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these, email us using the address above and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

8. Security

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people in our business who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal or health information through these forms.

9. Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and will post the revised version on this page.
